These axes are made with a full-tang construction, making them cut more like a knife than a traditional axe. The handle length and weight make the axe fast in the hand and easy to direct for powerful cuts. We use ours for everything around camp – kindling prep, food prep, skinning & butchering deer, and of course carving pot hangers, spoons, etc.. The blade has a Convex or appleseed grind making it ideal for general cutting work.
